HE DOESN’T STEP IN, he doesn’t need to, this isn’t that type of mission. No interference, just watch and report. Interpol wants to know what the hell is going on in the criminal underworld: the spike in assassin activity and subsequent blood shed a concerning thing. Not that Adam keeps his presence inconspicuous, sure he could but with these types: getting noticed is easy so why bother ? Especially with this one: John Wick. A man with a reputation even far outside this crowd.
Black digits rise up to take cigarettes from lips as a puff of smoke is exhaled, the spew of violence, blood, and gun fire around him hardly bothers him ( so long as those barrels aren’t pointed at him. ) As eyes flicker back to the hitman Jensen will admit: Wick is a damn good shot.
john is a cataclysmic force of nature. a sobering reminder that death, eventually, comes for everyone. an arm glides up & he pulls the trigger, a bullet plunging into a suited man’s gut. a shot rings out at him & john drops to avoid it, given the first man another shot to the head for good measure. when he hits the ground, he’s locked onto the second target that’d shot at him just a moment ago, & john places lead right between his eyes before there’s an opportunity for other man to acquire his target once again. more of them are about, so john makes a move for his own safety, rolling behind the marble kitchen counter to give himself a bit more freedom as he stands up.
beams of light are bouncing about in the hallway to his right, so john doesn’t move. all he does is keep his gun aimed as the idle, french chatter gets closer & closer. a foot comes into view first, earning a quick shot, toppling the man & giving john the opportunity to take another quick shot at his head, which he doesn’t miss. the next is pressed against the wall, breathing panicked, probably over his dead friend on the floor next to him. knowing he doesn’t have time before more show up (he’s running low on ammo by now), john forgoes the obviousness of patience. he steps out into the other man’s line of site, but knows he can aim & shoot quicker. not only is he a more talented killer, but a handgun is far more ergonomic than a rifle in corridors. one squeeze of the trigger, & the wall gets a new, red paint job.
